Training program on Sport Court procedures concludes

DOHA, February 23, 2016 – The two day training program on procedures and regulations of Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) organized by the Qatar Olympic Academy (QOA) was successfully concluded at the QOA buildings in Doha on Tuesday.

At the course closing session on Monday , Mr. Saif Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Acting QOA Executive Director handed over the appreciation certificate and trophies to lecturers and trainees.

Senior experts from CAS, including Dr. Abdullah Al Hayyan, CAS sport tribunal member and Saleh Ahmed Al Obaidely, approved Judge at CAS delivered vital topics on CAS procedures and regulations at this productive course.

The two-day training program brought together 35 trainees from Qatar and United Arab Emirates. The course mainly focused on the procedures and regulations applied in CAS in relation to tackling all sport disputes between raised out between individuals and organizations.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), is an international quasi-judicial body established to settle disputes related to sport through arbitration.
