Cyclists shined to win two gold medals in Arab Championship

ABU DHABI, UAE, March 30, 2015 –  Qatar cycling team made impressive performance on Sunday at the 7th Arab Cycling Championship 2015 to win two gold and one silver in Abu Dhabi, UAE on  Sunday.
Qatar’s Diego Horifeild confidently claimed the gold medal in the Men’s one kilo race, UAE’s Mohammed Al-Mansouri managed in the second place and the bronze medal went to Ahmed Al Moshaikhes from KSA.
Qatar’s Faris Adel Ibraheem won the gold medal in the Youth’s one kilo race, ahead of Shokri Al Mahdi from Morocco and Ahmed Jassim (UAE) clinched the bronze medal.
On the same track of victory, Qatar’s Eza El Deen Alaa won the silver medal in Youth Kern race, the gold medal went to Al Korgi (Morocco) and Ahmed Abdullah Al Bashri from KSA seized the bronze medal.
The tournament features the participation of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Morocco, Iraq and Hosts United Arab Emirates.
