Chess referees training program begins at QOA

DOHA, May 29, 2015 –  The international refereeing course for 20 Qatari chess coaches and players organized by the Qatar Chess Association (QCA) got underway at the Qatar Olympic Academy Headquarters  on Thursday.
Mr.  Mohammed Al Modehaiki, the QCA Secretary General, Dr. Ali Al Bakeri, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs at the  QOA and Hamad Al Tamimi, Executive Director of QCA attended the course opening on Thursday.
UAE’s international chess lecturer, Mr. Mahadi Abdulraheem will provide the trainees with valuable lessons in the chess coaching skills during  the four day course.
In a press release on Thursday, Mr. Mohammed Al-Modehaiki, the QCA Secretary General confirmed that the course mainly aims to develop the skills of Qatari chess referees to reach high technical level in managing the game.
